27th – 30th August 2026 – While Vienna often dominates the historiography of Afro-Austrian history, Graz holds a distinct position shaped by academic migration, religious networks, and structural community organizing.
This 4-day journey takes you to the most significant sites of Black history in Graz including the monumental Chiala Afrikas Festival — concert halls, cafés, galleries, and memorials rarely featured in ordinary guidebooks.
